Types of Texts

We accompany our clients at different stages of their business translation needs and we consider the context in which the texts are produced.

Advice and planning: texts required to set up a company, business plans, letters of intent, legal opinions on competition law, patents, trademarks, among others. Macroeconomic reports and texts in the field of microeconomics (studies on the behaviour of consumers, workers, investors).

Business development: general terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, distribution contracts, licensing contracts, assignment of rights contracts, franchise contracts. Financial texts, accounting and foreign trade texts.

Litigation: lawsuits, reply briefs, court decisions (judgments, orders, opinions), settlement agreements, documents in national and international arbitration proceedings.

Hibrid Texts

Many documents are not exclusively from the legal field. Many contracts, for example, require documentation in other specialised fields. In addition, in the field of industrial property (patents), it is common to find hybrid legal and technical texts. We do extensive research if we come across any of these cases and have a network of collaborators specialised in other fields.
